Webinar: Down the Rabbit Hole: Navigating ADHD as an SLP

What happens when a speech-language pathologist, researcher, professor, and leader also has ADHD? In this honest and engaging presentation, I share my personal and professional journey of navigating the speech-language pathology profession while living with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Drawing from my experiences in research, higher education, and leadership, I discuss how ADHD has influenced the way I think, learn, teach, mentor, and lead. Attendees will gain insight into the often-invisible challenges that many neurodivergent professionals face, including executive functioning difficulties, time management struggles, task initiation, organization, email overload, documentation demands, perfectionism, rejection sensitivity, and the ongoing challenge of balancing multiple responsibilities.
